In An Effort to Meet Continued Agency Growth, The Brand Activation Company Brings On Seasoned Executives as Part of Its Initiative to Deliver Best-of-Breed Client Solutions

IRVINE, Calif., – March 16, 2016 – INK, Orange County’s premiere brand activation agency, today announced that it has enhanced its management team with the addition of two new senior level executives. The new executives were brought on board as part of the company’s strategy to enhance thought leadership and better serve its growing client base.

Chuck Copin joins the company as the Chief Marketing Officer. He brings over 25 years of experience in working with clients to find value in embracing global business trends. Chuck will lead the marketing team in driving thought leadership in the transformation of client companies and leverage today’s digital business landscape. He will play a major role in shaping the company’s design and creative language for its clients.

Recently, Chuck’s focus has been on emerging markets where he worked with the World Bank and UN-Energy to bring CleanTech products to the developing world for power and lights. Additionally, he has led top tier U.S. consumer brands like Sunbeam, Coleman and Fortune Brands in their product sourcing efforts in China leveraging technology.

During the original digital marketing wave in the late ‘90s, Chuck was instrumental in working with iXL and Agency.com, both of whom went IPO on the strength of their Internet development work for clients that included AT&T, Bank of America, HP, Incyte Genomics and PepsiCo among many others. In addition to working in the agency world, Chuck has worked with leading Venture Capital firms including Intel Capital, Softbank and Flatiron Partners on new technologies as well as Private Equity sponsor Brentwood Associates on global supply chain and logistics programs. He started his career with BBDO Worldwide where he launched global advertising and communications campaigns in Asia for Pepsi, FedEx, M&M Mars and General Electric. Chuck received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from UNLV.
In addition to Mr. Copin, INK recently brought on John Ward as the Chief Strategy Officer. In his new position, Ward will be instrumental in developing and growing the INK business, providing additional depth of experience and a diverse digital background to better serve its client base.

As a senior marketing executive with over 20 years experience leading teams, John has worked with internationally recognized and Fortune 500 companies such as American Apparel, Vespa Motorscooters and DIRECTV to name a few. John has particular expertise in digital and E-commerce going back to the infancy of the Internet. He has expanded U.S. businesses internationally as well as introducing overseas businesses to the U.S. market. John has developed a reputation as an innovator, identifying opportunities using a ROI focus with brand promotion to grow businesses. John holds his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Communications from Pepperdine University.

“As a leader in the Orange County advertising industry, INK looks to its executive team for effective leadership and to bring forth innovation that will continue to keep us on top,” stated Todd Henderson, president of INK.  “We are happy to welcome Chuck and John to the INK team. Their combined knowledge and expertise will help us maintain our leadership position and bring our clients innovative ideas, unparalleled creative strategies and top-notch service that they have come to expect.”
